Multi-Day Painting Courses

Our variable multi-day painting courses run from 4pm Sunday to 10am the following Saturday.

Come for a day or stay for a few, the choice is yours. Your one, two, three, four or five-day painting course is run on the Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday and/or Friday of a scheduled week-long painting holiday.

Here's how it works...

We normally run our day-painting courses during a scheduled week-long painting or cooking course as this will allow you more or less full days in the studio covering a good range of techniques and media.

Arrival can be any day, but if you join us late on Sunday afternoon you can settle in and get to know your fellow guests.

Choose one day or several on our infinitely variable day courses...

• Monday: Five day course

• Tuesday: One, Two, Three or Four-Day course

• Wednesday: One, Two or Three-Day course
  
  In the morning we have a bit of a rest, but spend the time wisely with a trip to nearby Sarlat and its wonderful market.
  
  Here, we'll wander around discussing all the fabulous produce, take photos of the lovely honey-coloured buildings to refer to in the studio later on and maybe do a little sketching en pleine air.
  
  Wednesday then continues with more painting

• Thursday: One and Two-Day course

• Friday: One-Day course only

Or any comination of the above!

Full-on days in the studio...

With the exception of Wednesday, there will be full days in the studio covering a range of techniques and styles.

• Hands-on practical tuition with our experienced friendly art tutors

• Paints, pencils, brushes, charcoal, etc

• Paper, canvas and supports, etc

Evening meals...

Although breakfast and lunch are included as part of the course, dinner is charged at £15 per person per day as most two and three-day course guests only come during the day.

on our week-long residential and variable multi-day courses.

Accommodation...

Stay either in our own en suite bedrooms here at Bombel or in a very pleasant B&B just four minutes up the lane.

Accommodation is £35 per room, per night for a single, double or twin centrally heated en suite room.
